Bracelet or Cuff Sizing: How to Measure Guide

Bracelet or Cuff Sizing

Follow these instructions for a perfect fit for your Bracelet or Cuff Sizing.

Measuring for a bracelet:
Find your wrist bone:
Locate the bony prominence on the side of your wrist.
Wrap the measuring tool:
Use a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper to wrap around your wrist, just below the bone.
Ensure a comfortable fit:
The tape or paper should be snug but not tight, allowing for a comfortable fit when wearing the bracelet.

Read the measurement:
Using a tape measure, note the measurement. If using paper, mark where the ends overlap and measure the length with a ruler.
Add extra length (if needed):
For charm bracelets, add about 1 inch, and for multi-link bracelets, add about 1/2 inch to the wrist measurement.

Measuring for a cuff:
Find your wrist bone:
Locate the bony prominence on the side of your wrist.
Wrap the measuring tool:
Wrap a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the bone.
Ensure a snug fit:
The tape or paper should be snug but not too tight, as cuffs are designed to sit comfortably between the wrist bone and the base of the hand.
Measure the opening:
For the cuff opening, measure the smallest part of your wrist, where the cuff will sit.
Subtract for the opening:
If you know the desired opening, subtract that measurement from the wrist measurement to determine the cuff size.
Using a paper strip:
Cut a strip of paper at least 1/2 inch wide (or the width of the bracelet/cuff).
Wrap the paper around your wrist, marking where the ends meet.
Measure the marked paper strip with a ruler.
